Hello, unstoppables you're listening to the unstoppable mine podcast. And today I'm going to talk to you about the nervous system. And if you don't think that you need to know about the nervous system, how do I say this? You are so wrong. I want you to know that your nervous system is always asking a question. And can you guess what that question might be? Stay tuned. Welcome, unstoppables thank you for joining me on this podcast episode where we are going to talk a little bit about the nervous system. And the question that the nervous system is always asking. And as I am creating and recording this podcast episode, in the corner on my desk is the itinerary the reaching for it, the Brain Body contract, and it was the agenda that Dr. Andrew Huberman had given to us when I attended his live event back in May, and it's so great because he has on page three, the nervous system. On page five, the origins, Page seven neuroplasticity, focus, rest, the autonomic nervous system, motivation and more information on neuroplasticity. I love this guy, he's so incredible. So if I were to turn to his little agenda that He's given us, and I turn to page three, the nervous system, what it is, is, it's our brain, our eyes, and our spinal cord. And, and I'm going to talk about what it does hear in just a moment. But I'm sharing this, because I wanted you to understand my approach when I am working with clients, and also my own awareness about my body. And, and when I'm going into fight or flight, and how I can allow my body to come back to the normal, normal homeostasis state, you know, which I like to call the state of inner peace. So I'm excited to share a little bit more about the nervous system with you. Before I dive in, I do want to say that oh, my goodness, I am so grateful for everyone's response. So many people have sent me messages and emails about podcast episode 31 called Why am I stuck? I did not realize I never know what's going to really resonate with people. I'm just creating these podcast episodes based on topics that I love. And so big a big thank you to everyone who reached out to me, a big thank you for those of you who shared the podcast episode. And please, you know, continue to, to like it to leave a review and to share it with your loved ones because my intention is to change people's lives, and to change and to give this information in a way that's really easy to understand. So yes, I'm inspired by Dr. Andrew Huberman and the nervous system. And so as I said, the nervous system is made up of the brain, the spinal cord, and nerves. And so it controls much of what we think and feel and what our body does. Automatically, unconsciously without us even realizing it. It does things like it allows us to walk and to speak and to swallow and to breathe, and to learn. And it also controls how the body reacts and an emergency. So your nervous system util uses these special cells called neurons, neurons baby and they send signals or messages all over your entire body. And these electrical signals travel between your brain and your skin organ in your glands and your muscles. So everything that your body does is connected in some way to the nervous system. Again, it tells your body your heart to beat. It tells your lungs to breathe. It controls the way that you move. The words that you say how you think, or you learn your senses. Your mouth Raise. So it there's unconscious communication that's happening in the body. And there's also unconscious communication that is happening between me and my client. And so learning about the nervous system has been very, very impactful for me, and it makes the work, it makes the work that I teach, it makes the work that I do so much more powerful, because I'm including this part in when I am talking to clients about transformation. So this is what I want to share with you today about the nervous system is that I'm always aware of what I'm saying, I'm always aware of my tone, my facial expressions, and even my breathing, because I understand that I am creating rapport unconsciously with my clients. And we are always communicating bits, millions of bits of information between each other. So when I'm working with my client, I am congruent with them. And, and so I wanted to share with you about the vagus nerve. And for those of you who don't know, the vagus nerve is an information highway, it goes from the brainstem, through your heart, through your lungs, through your gut, all the way down your back, I don't know how far down but and it is in charge of our fight or flight response, rest and digest the immobilization response. And it's also in charge of our well being. And all of these things are going on at the same time. So the vagus nerve sends messages up and down that area. And one of the messages that it's always asking is, well, first of all, let me just share with you that it's designed to keep us safe. And I alluded to that earlier, it's and when we are working with our clients, and when we are communicating unconsciously, not with our words, but we are communicating with our clients, essentially, by holding my client's vision. So whatever it is that they came to see me for, I'm imagining that in my mind, I'm seeing them in their glory, living their amazing life. And I am truly doing this. And what I know is happening is that I am communicating to my client, that to their nervous system, that they are safe. Because that's the question that our nervous system is always asking, am I safe? Am I safe? Am I safe? And by creating that rapport with my client, I am telling them at an unconscious level, that they are safe. It's really powerful, because our nervous system is asking that question countless times a minute. So when I'm working with clients, I'm holding the vision in my mind of them thriving. I'm seeing them happy and healthy. And I'm sharing this with you because I want you to know that your nervous system is always asking you this question. And are you listening? Because your body is telling you? Is your heart beating fast? Do you feel exhausted, overwhelmed. And so when I am working with my clients, everything is congruent. Everything that leaks out of me is congruent with me holding their vision. And you better believe that their nervous system is unconsciously picking up on that. It's amazing. It's powerful stuff. And so when I'm working with my clients, when I'm working with groups, I am leading from my heart. I am again just focused on how my clients want to live their life like who do they want to be? Why are they there to see me and I'm holding that vision for them. It reminds me of when I was in a and I remember my sponsor at the time telling me that you know she's like, we'll love you until you can love yourself. So it makes me feel that way even though it's a different. It's a different it's a different topic, but it's I do feel like when my clients are with me, I do feel that I am holding their vision, even if they can't necessarily see that for themselves. And you better believe that my clients, the groups that I work with, absolutely can feel that truth. You can't lie with your energy. And so I want to say to people who are, you know, just too afraid to speak out about, you know, if they're there, I know that there are a lot of hypnotists that listen to my podcast. And if you're too frightened to talk about your work, because of the way that you think people will perceive you, then you're making it about you. If you're, and you're not serving from your heart. And if you're too frightened to be charging a certain price, in case you know, people think that you're not enough that you're afraid that you'll be rejected, then again, you're making it about you and you're not focusing on serving. And there's a reason why we're called to do the work that we're doing. There is absolutely a reason why you're listening to this podcast. And many times I attract people, clients, people in groups that I'm that I have, and and, you know, I attract the people that want to serve and want to change the consciousness of this planet. And it is truly an honor to serve from my heart. Knowing that the person that I'm working with or the people that I'm working with, consents that they are safe with me. It's absolutely sacred. I do not take my work for granted. And I just wanted to share this with you, whatever business you're in, whether you're a coach or a CPA, if you just work with people doesn't matter necessarily what you do, but just knowing that for yourself, like how do you get into that place of safety. I mean, this is a long discussion, but one of the tips that I can say, is by doing some deep breathing, by allowing your body to get out of fight or flight and tuning back into that place of calmness and inner peace, because you can access that, it's just that you're probably not, it's not a habit yet for you to do that. So put a reminder on your phone, there's tapping. There's hypnosis, of course, you know, sometimes people don't have the time to just drop and do hypnosis right then or there. That's why I love breathing. I think it's so powerful. There's box breathing, I think there's 579. You know, essentially, if you exhale for longer than you inhale, what you're doing is you're activating your vagus nerve. And what you're also doing is when you're breathing, you are and you're calming down, you're allowing your body to restore and heal, and you're releasing chemical hormones, healing hormones into your body. So I can't emphasize it enough. And, and so I want to encourage you, so for the people who are listening, how do you get into this state of inner peace, you can practice breathing. And if you've listened to any of my episodes, then you know that there are several ways to do that. But I do want to say, for the people who are working with clients or in whatever capacity that you serve in the world, just know that you can be congruent, you can create rapport with somebody, you can let them know that they're safe, by holding their vision, holding their vision, seeing them thriving in your mind. And that's the energy that you're really seeing. And they are picking up on that unconsciously. So what an honor it is for us to serve. And I wanted to share this with you today I know is a little bit all over the place. It's it's it's been such a fun week for me. I am teaching Hypno Thrive this week and just having a blast. I'm honored to serve. So I had I think I did an early bird special which meant that people could sign up for the June cohort and the August cohort and I believe 37 people signed up altogether. So some of them are taking the August cohort 27 People are taking the June cohort. And I feel so grateful I feel so humbled. I feel so blessed that I get to teach people not only hypnosis, I get to teach people how to have true transformation, long lasting transformation. So I've got a bunch of badasses in this group. And then I have some returning graduates. So we our class was, I think, at 40 yesterday. So I'm super excited. I'm having fun and I wanted to share this with you.
