Welcome, everyone. Welcome to the podcast, the unstoppable mind. And today we are going to continue our conversation on money on money. So if you have not listened to my previous podcast on money, I, I invite you. I invite you to listen to that podcast first. It's going to give you great awareness on what you believe about money. But first, before we dive into money, I want to congratulate you, because if you've been listening to my podcast, you are becoming a neuro hacker, a neuro hacker. So I'm excited because you are training your brain. So let's talk money. And on the last podcast, I shared that I love talking about money for many, many reasons. A big part of it now is that I understand money and I have an incredible relationship with money today. But for a very long time, I did not I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. And not only was I broke in my mind, and I came from scarcity and lack mindset.

As a direct result, I was broken my bank account.

So that used to be my story. That is no longer my story today. And I'm excited to share with you all of the ways all of the tools that I used to train my brain with money. So what I want you to understand is that I am so excited for first First of all, I'm so excited that you're listening to this podcast on money because you can level up really really quickly. Really getting to that next level in your life. And that's what I want for you more than anything. I want you to have an unstoppable mind and an unstoppable life because there is freedom to be had freedom that's available to you with money. So, in the last podcast, we talked about what you really believe about money and why you can't be rich.

And did you reframe those beliefs and if you haven't done so, I want to invite you to do so.

Today is all about understanding how our money beliefs are formed.

And then what to do with those reframed money beliefs from podcast from the previous podcast, and how we can change those limiting beliefs.

So first, I want to talk to you about the subconscious mind.

And the subconscious mind is where your beliefs, your emotions, your habits. your long term memory, your creativity or intuition, are located and operates 90% of your brain. And the way that our subconscious beliefs are formed are like this.

And I'm going to say this in a way that I hope I hope makes sense to people. So from the time you are zero to seven years old, during the first seven years of your life, your brain is like a sponge. your prefrontal cortex is not developed and your brain is absorbing everything that is happening.

Children's brainwaves are in a slow state called theta brainwave state and it makes them so suggestible to information. That's why they can learn so quickly. Everything is going into their brain like a program and it gets programmed into their subconscious. So everything that you saw, heard, we're told, exposed to how you were raised, and what was modeled to you went into your brain on edited so if you heard things growing up about money, like the rich get richer, the poor get poor. Money is the root of all evil. Money doesn't grow on trees. It's one I hear all the time from clients that I work with.

However, you were conditioned, whatever you were told growing up, was programmed into your subconscious and those subconscious patterns and beliefs that programming is what drives your behaviors today.

So if you were programmed with information that was not empowering, in most of us were, then that disempowering loop, just that program just plays over and over. So if you heard growing up, you're not worthy of that. Who do you think you are? We can't afford that. That's for rich people.

This loop, this program is playing over and over in your subconscious and keeping you stuck and as I've shared, they become automated. And they are what is driving your behaviors and your beliefs with money today.

90 90% of your daily actions and decisions are coming from the from that programmed, hardwired, automated thoughts that are stored in your subconscious.

So you might need to listen to this again. But this explains to you how your beliefs are formed with money.

And again, what I want you to know is that it's not your fault. It was how you were conditioned. It was how you were raised. But today you get to decide if you don't have the results that you want in your life. Now is the time to change and I'm giving you the tools on how to do that.

What I want you to know is that you cannot outperform what you really believe about money. So meaning whatever was programmed into your subconscious about money, and we try so hard we do we try so hard. I know because I was there. And that's when it feels like you know we're hitting our head against the wall. That was me totally.

I kept I couldn't figure out why I couldn't attract well.

So whatever you're telling yourself about money, your lack of money, that it doesn't grow on trees that you can afford that that your family didn't grow up rich, that money is a limited resource, that you're not good with money, that it's selfish to want more money, whatever it is that you are telling yourself over and over and over. You are reaffirming to your brain that lack that scarcity, those limiting beliefs and I know if you're like me, these are the thoughts that you don't want to have about money. You don't want these limiting beliefs about money playing over in your head. I really hope that that makes sense to you.

Whatever you repeat most often wins.

So in the last podcast on money, we talked about what you believe about money, those limiting beliefs, and you now understand how those beliefs were formed and how they continue to be alive in your brain.

And my money story was all about lack. So when I was seven years old, I remember the landlord coming to our apartment to pick up the rent check. And I remember my mom pulling me into the kitchen and whispering to me. Tell the landlord I'm not here.

I grew up really, really poor. And I know that there are a lot of people who've had the same similar upbringing that I did. I grew up hearing, we can't afford that. And I just want to say like, first of all, I want to give my mom so much credit. My mom is no longer here in physical form on Earth anymore, but I give her so much credit because we always had food and we always had clean clothes. And I remember I remember my mom would say we're poor but we're not dirty. And we were always looked clean and we had a clean home.

And one of my other memories about childhood and money and lack is that we used to shop at a store called Kmart. And it's what my mom is what we could afford. And every fall we would get school clothes, my siblings and I and we would do our shopping. And I remember we pick out our outfits. And we were so excited and the way that we could afford new clothes and new items. Was that my mom would put them on layaway. And I remember the layaway plan was all the way in the back of Kmart and we would go and wait in line with my mom.

And I just remember that never been able to have the things that I wanted immediately which I'm not saying is a bad thing. But it was just the lack that lack that lack and scarcity.

And my mom my sweet my sweet Dear Mom, you know she worked so hard so that we could have the things that we needed and I just want to honor her for that.

So get a little choked up there remembering my sweet mama working so hard. But now we're gonna learn how to tap into the power of the mind and how to remove those limiting beliefs and those stories that held you back. So what I want to ask you is what did you hear growing up about money?

And this is really important. It's important information

and I want you to take time to journal or to write about this, because you might be you might be surprised.

And I want to invite you for anything that comes up for you with this question. I want to invite you to reframe anything that is not empowering because those beliefs are playing out like a program. So if you heard growing up that money is hard to make in a burn a hole in your pocket. That's what I've heard that you have to work hard that it's really difficult to get.

And, you know, I've heard also that we barely had enough growing up.

It's important that you understand what you really believe, so that you can begin to reframe these beliefs. And to begin to tell your brain a new story.

The story of what you want to believe about money, what you want to create in your life.

So in addition to that self talk that I've talked about also on a podcast, or Yeah, on a different podcast. The other fastest tool that I use to reprogram the subconscious mind is hypnosis. Everybody knows who knows me that hypnosis is my jam. Because we're accessing the subconscious mind where your beliefs are.

And you know hypnosis is like rocket fuel. And I am going to have a audio available to purchase in the show notes called I am worthy of wealth and it will be available to you. But this audio is going to help you change your subconscious beliefs. Because now you understand how these limiting beliefs were created. And what hypnosis does is it actually shows your brain exactly what it is that you want to attract in your life. And if your brain can see it, can see it in your mind. Your subconscious mind thinks that it's real, and that it attracts what you want to you. And what's so beautiful is that your subconscious mind does not know the difference between real and imagined.

So in hypnosis, you start to imagine yourself as that person who is starting to do the actions of somebody that's wealthy imagining the thoughts and the things that a wealthy person has. I mean, honestly, nothing is easier than training your brain by plugging in earbuds in your ears while you're lying in bed. And as you're listening to this hypnosis or typically any hypnosis, not all of them, but you're stepping into that identity. So with this particular money, hypnosis, you're stepping into the identity of who you want to be and remember, your identity is how you see yourself and how you feel about yourself. I'm sharing this tool with you because it is the fastest way to overcome and to rewire those limiting beliefs. As I said, hypnosis is just like rocket fuel. But I do want to teach you another tool. I want to talk to you about Denton.

visualization.

Visualization is so powerful. So spending five minutes before you get out of bed in the morning and five minutes before you fall asleep at night. imagining that you are at that place in your life where you could have all of the money that you ever desire, imagining that you have finally arrived, whatever that means for you that all of your dreams have come true. So visualizing what that looks like. And as you visualize what that looks like you are feeling it and tasting it and seeing it you are being it and you're also allowing your brain to start to to feel what it feels like to be that wealthy person that I know you want to be.

So the number one question that I get all the time is that Mary Lou, I have never been there before. How can I possibly know what it's like to be a millionaire?

Well, what I want you to know is that there is evidence all around you.

There is so much evidence everywhere on social media, magazines, books, articles.

And there's information on how seven figure entrepreneurs think what actions are they taking? How are they showing up in the world? And I respect one of my mentors very, very much. I observe how he acts. I observe how he speaks. I observe what he's doing. How he is behaving and what he thinks about money and success. And I can tell you with my eyes closed and like the back of my hand what that man believes about money.

So I want to invite you to become a student of someone that you truly admire. And then start to take the actions that they do and start to act in the behaviors that they do.

But most importantly, what you're doing is you're giving your brain time every day to allow to allow yourself to fully step into that for your mind. To see it.

And then I have fun.

In my imagination I do. I imagine what it's like to have all of my dreams come true. I imagine what it's like to be on the stage with Tony Robbins to be chit chatting with Oprah on her program. I know she doesn't do Super Soul Sunday anymore. But I do. I imagined my life the way that I want it to be.

So let's go back to some steps because because I can just I can get carried away with my imagination. But number one, take your reframed beliefs from this podcast and from the last podcast. I want you to record those reframed beliefs. Just take your phone and record them and you ideally you want to make the recording at least one to two minutes long. And all you have to do to make it that long as repeat your beliefs over and over and over again. And what does repetition do everyone? Wish I could hear you respond? it rewires the brain. And then I want you to listen to your beliefs to your recording rather excuse me, I want you to listen to your beliefs recording at least once a day, right after your hypnosis or right after visualization. And then I'm going to want you to use positive self talk, speaking positively about money and repeating your new beliefs your new stories throughout the day, over and over all day long. And this is going to help you retrain your brain to believe what you want to believe about money.

The other thing I encourage is that when you find yourself wanting to go into those old beliefs about money, you know, this happened to me a lot in the beginning when I was learning to train my brain with money. I'd hang out with a girlfriend and she would talk about her vacation to Hawaii. And in my mind, I was like, I wish I could afford that. And I want you just to stop just you know to notice there's no judgment here. This is about you training your brain just like you would be training your physical body and just stop and notice and then change the story. Change the story too. I look forward to affording that.

I look forward to visiting Hawaii.

Tell yourself the new story that it's just not my budget right now. Versus I don't have enough money.

And even like, you know, I used to have girlfriends that we commiserate with and we talk about lack and scarcity and it's not conscious. We're not trying to consciously bring ourselves down. But just becoming aware of how you're speaking about money when you're talking to your partner or to your friends or to whoever.

And what I want to encourage you is repeating your new beliefs over and over because what I want you to know and I really want you to hear this is that once is not enough. You must be consistent and practice your new beliefs with repetition. You have lived your whole life thinking a certain way. So give yourself grace and compassion to create your new mindset with money.

So I want you to repeat after me wherever you are.

I am worthy of wealth.

I love myself I attract money easily and effortlessly.

I am a money magnet.

And I hope you have a smile on your face. I hope you feel great.
